Word of the Lord

Job 11:13-20

"Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him, if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear. You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure, because here is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety. You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor. But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; their hope will become a dying gasp."

And the Lord is saying, my precious children, your yoke would be so easy if you would just turn to me and let me be the ruler of your heart. Righteousness must prevail in your life. I see all and I know all because I am a sovereign God; you cannot hide anything from me, not even your thoughts. If you follow my decrees and live by my laws I will be quick to forgive your shortcomings and you will have my favor. No weapon formed against you shall prosper and I will refute every word spoken against you; for the weapons are not of this world so therefore I have the divine power to demolish every stronghold. Do not allow evil to grab hold of you; stand firm and have no fear to strangle you and allow the gifts and destiny that I have given you to go forth with the power of the Holy Spirit that I have placed within you.
